Saint John Market
The Saint John Market began its history in the Middle Ages and was largely destroyed in war. In the 1970s, the square was redesigned and declared a pedestrian zone. Now it is the heart of the city of Saarbrücken.
Henry’s Ice Cream Manufacture
If you visit Saarbrücken and you like ice cream, you have to go to Henry’s.
Saarbrücken State Theatre
The Saarbrücken State Theatre was opened in 1938 and has a capacity of around 900 spectators. In addition to theatre performances, there are also musical theatre, ballet and musical productions and a symphony orchestra.
Ulanen Pavillion
In this small pavilion right on the Saar, you can enjoy many Saarland beverages such as Bruch’s Zwickel (a Saarbrücken brewery). From the grill, you can get classic bratwursts, and the Saarland classic Schwenker.
Picnic area Am Staden
Young and old meet at the Staden to walk, picnic and enjoy the weather together.
