Experience

Your tour will start in the celebrated Balmy Alley, in the Mission District. Walk along this back street, which is home to an ever changing repertoire of colorful and provocative murals. Continue your walk along 24th street, which has its own interesting set of murals, till you come to Lilac Street and then on to Osage Street. Both streets are crammed with spectacular art, which adorns walls, garages and fences. It is then time to hail your robotaxi and on to your next stop. Clarion Alley, further to the north in the Mission District, is another world famous hotspot for murals, with a very evident social conscience and message. Traverse this bright and dramatic alley, then hail another robotaxi to take you to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. Stop for a bite to eat at the Magnolia Gastropub and Brewery, then continue your street art odyssey, by walking along Haight Street, taking in all its intriguing and often psychedlic works of art. As you walk down this famous street, venture into the side streets and view the murals that are often just lurking off the district’s main thoroughfare.
