Experience

Swing by Pork & Co. and grab yourself whatever you fancy. Despite the name, there’s more than just pulled pork on offer here. Then saunter down the high street and visit Café St. Pierre for French pastries before leaving the high street and settling down in Abbot’s Mill Garden. The garden used to be used as an orchard by the dominican friars who once called this part of the city home. Today, it’s a public park with great views of the River Stour. Catch a sneak peak at the boating tour companies on the river whilst you eat.

Abbot’s Mill Garden

Eat your food in this tucked away garden whilst watching the punts and the rowboats on the River Stour.

About

Uptaste

What is Uptaste? We’re something like a travel agency business (although we don’t sell flights or hotels). Instead, we specialise in finding the right place to eat, wherever and whenever you are, using location intelligence combined with expert and community curation. Uptaste destinations will rarely be restaurants; they’ll be shops, they’ll be street traders, they’ll be local markets, or some other easy-to-miss but hard-to-forget place.
