The Head of the River
Traditional English pub and restaurant beside the River Thames, serving contemporary dishes and British classics, Sunday lunches with all the trimmings, and a hearty lunch menu.
Christ Church
Christ Church was founded in 1546 by King Henry VIII, with the college uniquely being a joint foundation of the university and the cathedral of the Oxford diocese, Christ Church Cathedral.
Museum of Oxford
The Museum of Oxford is a small local history museum, which showcases the history and development of the city over the past 3000 years.
The Covered Market
Dating back to the 1770s, this traditional indoor bazaar boasts over 50 independent shops, cafes, bars and experiences all under one historic roof.
Carfax Tower
Carfax Tower was built in the 12th century as part of St Martin’s Church. There are 99 steps to the top of the 74 foot tall tower, which has great views over the Oxford skyline.
Oxford Castle & Prison
Take a tour of the remains of this medieval castle, which was also used a prison up to 1996.
