Experience

Start the tour by exploring the massive Nagycsarnok (Great Hall) and find the best food that Hungary has to offer. Then take the weight off your feet and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of one of Budapest’s iconic tea rooms, before exploring the historic and stimulating Jewish Quarter, with its tempting confectionery shops, street food market, and cultural heart.

Nagycsarnok

This covered market offers a huge variety of stalls on three floors, over 21,000 square meters.

Café Astoria

More than 100 years old, Café Astoria manages to maintain its traditions of hospitality which combining with a 21st century approach.

Dohány Street Synagogue

The Dohány Street Synagogue was built between 1854 and 1859 in the Moorish Revival style, with the decoration based chiefly on Islamic models from North Africa and medieval Spain.

Café Noé

Confectionery shop with a garden at the rear. Famous for their cakes and cookies.

Karavan

Karavan is a food court that gives home to numerous food trucks and booths serving mouth-watering delicacies which you can consume standing up, or sitting on one of the benches at the back.

Szimpla Kert

Cultural hub, home to a program of music, film, food, crafts and all-round enjoyment.
