Experience

The tour starts in the heart of Saarlouis at the Marienbrunnen on the Greater Market. There you can already start with a little bit of history. The tour continues with a nice meal at the Mellow Café, which offers various dishes for everyone. From there on, go through the Old Town to the Ravelin V, the next very historic place. There you can relax at the big stairs, eat your meal and learn about the history of the fortress wall. The tour goes on to the Island of Vauban, where you can grab a refreshing drink. You will end the tour at the Easy Wiese in the city parc, for some relaxation. Take you time to enjoy the city and have some fun!

Großer Markt

The Greater Market gives a great first impression of the old fortress of Saarlouis, especially since the surrounding buildings are full of history.

Mellow Coffee

The Mellow Coffee offers the complete coffee experience, teas, smoothies, frappés, shakes, soft drinks, iced teas, homemade muffins, cookies, pancakes, breakfast offers and freshly prepared bagels.

Ravelin V

The Ravelin V promises a lot of green space, viewing platforms, ancient walls, as well as a beautiful view of the Vauban Island and Bastion IV. The perfect spot to meet with friends, eat a snack or to just do nothing.

Saarlouiser Inselgarten

An experience that you may not get everywhere. A place where history and relaxation meet. Historical building with an underground tunnel and a few statues connected with a beer garden and cool music.

Easy Wiese

The “Stadtgarten” is Saarlouis biggest parc and the “Easy Wiese” one of its famous little spots. It is perfect for some relaxation.
