Experience

Your tour starts in the historic Rialto market, following the stalls as they wind along banks of the Grand Canal. The fruit & vegetable stalls then merge with the equally famous fish market. Now that your appetite has been whetted, visit three of the best bacari to experience the mouth watering cicchetti, including one bacari that was a favourite of Casanova himself - you too will fall in love with the culinary delights of Venice! Finish the tour with an ice-cream desert at one of San Polo’s most popular gelateria’s.

Uptaste

What is Uptaste? We’re something like a travel agency business (although we don’t sell flights or hotels). Instead, we specialise in finding the right place to eat, wherever and whenever you are, using location intelligence combined with expert and community curation. Uptaste destinations will rarely be restaurants; they’ll be shops, they’ll be street traders, they’ll be local markets, or some other easy-to-miss but hard-to-forget place.
