Experience

Your evening starts at The Grand, where you can enjoy a coffee, in surroundings reminiscent of an old Victorian train station. Mosey on down to Dust Cutter, the wild-west inspired restaurant and bar at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Transport yourself back to the heyday of the cowboy and enjoy a starter or even share some appetizers. Hail a robotaxi to take you up to Midtown and your next stop, Taco Guild. Residing in a striking old-west Methodist Church, built in 1893 before Arizona had even achieved statehood, Taco Guild serves up internationally-inspired taco offerings. After chowing down on your main course, why not stay a while at Taco Guild and toast Arizona’s Mexican heritage by partaking in one or two of the over 200 agave spirits available behind the bar.

Uptaste

What is Uptaste? We’re something like a travel agency business (although we don’t sell flights or hotels). Instead, we specialise in finding the right place to eat, wherever and whenever you are, using location intelligence combined with expert and community curation. Uptaste destinations will rarely be restaurants; they’ll be shops, they’ll be street traders, they’ll be local markets, or some other easy-to-miss but hard-to-forget place.
